Summer in the Park Concert Series 2012 in San Marcos

For many, summer nights are synonymous with concerts. For music lovers that are looking for fun summer events in San Marcos, TX, we have a great concert series recommendation. San Marcos Parks and Recreation and the San Marcos Performing Arts Association have teamed up to present the Summer in the Park 2012 Concert Series. 

This is the 25th year for the Summer in the Park concert series. According to their Facebook page, the goal of the series is “to bring fellowship and entertainment to the citizens of San Marcos.”

Every Thursday night in San Marcos Park Plaza from 7:30 pm until 9:30 pm, a free live concert featuring a different band is presented.

Here is a list of some of the upcoming shows:

• July 5th–USAF Band of the West
• July 12th–Ponte Bone and the Squeezetones
• July 19th–Brave Combo
