Great Summer Programs at San Marcos Public Library

Summer is here! And with it comes the inevitable question of just what to do with all of the free time your kids have on their hands. That’s why it’s a good thing that public libraries in San Marcos, TX have so much to offer the entire family this summer – it’s the perfect solution to summer boredom. 

At San Marcos Public Library, there’s always the Summer Reading Program, which aims to foster a love of reading that extends beyond the classroom. Kids and adults alike can track their progress all summer long and be entered for prizes – a great incentive to get those pages turning!

There are all sorts of other fun and exciting happenings, too; in fact, it just so happens that there are over 70 free events being offered over the course of the summer. Story times, puppet shows, jugglers, arts and crafts, live musicians…and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. No matter what your family is into, you’re bound to find something to interest you at the library this summer.
